Man’s Way:
Proverbs 14:12 12 There is a way which seems right to a person, But its end is the way of death.

God’s Way:
Romans 5:8 8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Joshua’s Way:
Joshua 1:5-9 5Now it came about after the death of Moses the servant of the LORD, that the LORD spoke to Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ servant, saying: 6 Be strong and courageous, for you shall give this people possession of the land which I swore to their fathers to give them. 7 Only be strong and very courageous; be careful to do according to all the Law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, so that you may achieve success wherever you go. 8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will achieve success. 9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not be terrified nor dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”

Our Way:
Is to be the same as Joshua’s way, which is God’s way. We study God’s Word not to acquire facts or knowledge, but to know Him, love Him, obey Him, and to become like Him.
Quotes from others on their discovery of God’s Word:
Renews our minds, Ignites our hearts, Hear God speak,
Directs our prayers, Humbles our souls, Enlightens our path,
Sanctifies our lives, Strengthens our faith, Deepens our passion,

CONCLUSION:
As it was to Joshua, so it is to us: “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will achieve success.”
