PERFECT PATIENCE Makrothumia 3115: Longsuffering, long of spirit, a strong passion stronger than anger, welling up of the whole spirit, a mighty emotion which seizes and moves the whole inner man. A patient holding out under trial. As to Jesus it conveys that the greatest sinners need not despair of mercy from God.
